This Saturday, March 31, join hundreds of novice, intermediate and expert cross-country skiers for the inaugural Mont-Sainte-Anne Loppet presented by Québecor! There’s a challenge for everyone with a 48K Boralex, 25K KPMG, 10K Sportful and a 1.5K Québecor loop for young skiers. All races are now offered in free technique and classic technique.


Whether you sign up solo or with friends or family, and no matter if you’re out to win or just have fun, this is one spring challenge you won’t want to miss out on!

To pick up your bib or someone else’s, you must show an electronic copy or printout of your registration confirmation.

IMPORTANT : You must pick up your bib 30 minutes before the race starts.

9:02 a.m : 48 km Boralex - classique
9:15 am : 10 km Sportful - skate
9:17 a.m : 10 km Sportful - classique
9:30 a.m : 25 km KPMG - skate
9:32 a.m : 25 km KPMG - classique
1:30 p.m.: 1.5K Québecor (1.5K loop)
1:45 p.m.: 3K and 4.5K Québecor (1.5K loop)

Starts will be staggered to ensure a smooth flow.

Time limit – 48K Boralex: For safety reasons, skiers who do not pass the 31 km mark by 1 p.m. will not be allowed to complete the full course and must ski out via the end of the 25K KPMG course instead.

Course and elevation gain

The 48K Boralex and 25K KPMG courses are a unique opportunity for skiers to explore the Mont-Sainte-Anne backcountry and discover areas not usually open to the public.

IMPORTANT : We will do our best to deliver a quality course with the help of our grooming equipment. However, as in most Québec ski stations by the end of March, the spring snow conditions can affect the tracks, as well as the number of participants using them.

Start and finish areas

The meeting point for all participants is the Rang Saint-Julien Lodge at Mont-Sainte-Anne. This is where the start and finish areas are located for all distances.


Parking is available near the start and finish areas: Rang Saint-Julien Lodge (Chalet du rang Saint-Julien), Mont-Sainte-Anne 300 Rang Saint Julien, Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges (QC) G0A 3R0

Onsite services

Skis can be waxed in the usual wax room at the Rang Saint-Julien Lodge.

Limited storage space will be available onsite.

A snack bar will be set up by the finish line.


Participants who do not have a provincial licence can purchase a day licence for $3 onsite at bib pickup (cash only).

Participants from outside Quebec must be in possession of a race licence issued and recognized by their province, state or country of origin.

Results and medal ceremony

Medals will be awarded to the top three men and women based on cumulative ranking.

Come meet Olympic athlete Alex Harvey!
The longstanding locals’ favourite from right here in Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges, Alex Harvey will be skiing the 48K Boralex event this March 31. An autograph session with Alex Harvey will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Auclair tent.

Fun refreshment stations
To add a little fun for the season wrap-up, the refreshment stations will feature entertainment and gourmet treats as well as the standard athletic fuel. Our fun refreshment stations are located at the Rang Saint-Julien Lodge (two stations) and at the Chalet Langevin, Chalet Martineau and Chalet du Nord.

Desjardins Easter Egg Hunt
As of 10h45, kids 5 and under are invited to take part in a Easter egg hunt near the start line.


The term “Loppet”—meaning “ski marathon”—originated in Scandinavia. The Mont-Saint-Anne Loppet presented by Québecor is a recurring springtime event that aims to attract hundreds of cross-country skiers of all abilities. Quebec Winter Events Corporation and event producer Gestev plan to make the Loppet the season wrap-up cross-country skiing enthusiasts everywhere won’t want to miss.
