Reunite with Les Boys, Quebec's most famous hockey team.
Stan, who owns a bar and coaches a very, very amateur hockey team, loses a colossal sum of money playing poker against Méo, a loan shark he considers a friend.
To help Stan pay off his debt, Méo has an idea: they’ll settle it heads-up on the ice, in a hockey game. If Stan’s team wins, the debt is wiped clean. But if they lose… Méo becomes the owner of his beloved brewery.
While Méo assembles a crew of musclemen and ex-convicts, Stan can count only on his boys. His team is made up of men from different walks of life, united by nothing except perhaps their love of hockey and the beer they drink together after the games…
To come to the aid of the man who is more than just their coach, they’ll have to set aside their differences and learn the true meaning of friendship.
More than 25 years after its release, Guillaume Corbeil and Marc St-Martin revisit Louis Saia’s film—based on an original idea by Richard Goudreau and a screenplay by Christian Fournier — by bringing it to the stage. It’s a chance to reconnect with Quebec’s most famous hockey team (OK, maybe the second most famous…) and to remember the importance of mental toughness.

“Les Boys on Stage: The Rookies Carry the Torch with Pride.”
- Cédric Bélanger, Journal de Québec
“There are plenty of laughs, even though we already know (almost) everything that’s going to happen and can recite the lines by heart. While we’ll never forget the original Boys, it doesn’t take long to grow attached to the new ones.”
- Ian Bussières, Le Soleil
“Nearly 30 years after playing their first game, Méo, Stan, Bob and the gang haven’t lost their touch. The characters from Louis Saïa’s cult-classic saga lace up their skates once again in Les Boys, an irresistible new chapter that’s hugely entertaining and, above all, downright hilarious.”
- Bruno Lapointe, Journal de Montréal
“Les Boys makes a brilliant transition from screen to stage at Théâtre du Vieux-Terrebonne, thanks to an inventive production brought to life by a talented cast. While hockey and theatre may seem worlds apart, the two came together beautifully on Thursday evening at the media premiere.
- Luc Boulanger, La Presse
