Long-term agreement ensures the festival will remain through 2030

Festival Country Lotbinière (FCL) is proud to reaffirm its commitment to the Municipality of Saint-Agapit through a long-term agreement that guarantees the festival will remain at its current site through 2030.
Since its inception, Saint-Agapit has been at the heart of Festival Country Lotbinière's identity. This agreement reflects the shared commitment of both the festival and the municipality to continue building an event that has become a major tourism, cultural, and economic driver for the Lotbinière region.
"For us, there was never any question of moving elsewhere. Saint-Agapit is the home of Festival Country Lotbinière. This is where our journey began, where we have grown, and where we want to continue welcoming tens of thousands of country music fans year after year. This agreement sends a clear message: FCL is here to stay," said Guillaume Laflamme, co-founder of Festival Country Lotbinière and Director at Gestev responsible for the festival's production.
The Municipality of Saint-Agapit warmly welcomes the confirmation of the festival's long-term presence within its community.
"Festival Country Lotbinière has become an integral part of our municipality's identity. We are proud to continue this partnership, which generates significant benefits for our community while helping showcase Saint-Agapit throughout Quebec," said Yves Gingras, Mayor of Saint-Agapit.
Since its acquisition by Gestev, Festival Country Lotbinière has benefited from the expertise of one of Quebec's leading producers of major events. For Gestev, ensuring the festival's long-term future in Saint-Agapit remains a top priority.
"Festival Country Lotbinière is an exceptional event with deep roots in its community. For Gestev, it was essential that its future growth remain true to its history and heritage. This agreement allows us to continue expanding the festival while preserving the authenticity and spirit that have made it such a success since day one," said Martin Tremblay, President and Chief Executive Officer of Gestev.
Festival Country Lotbinière would also like to acknowledge the valued support of its government partners. The support of the Government of Quebec, through the Ministry of Tourism, and the Government of Canada, through Canadian Heritage, plays a key role in the festival's continued growth, visibility, and appeal.
As the festival continues to grow, this agreement provides a stable foundation for the years ahead and confirms that Saint-Agapit will remain the gathering place for country music fans for many years to come.
