Supercross Montréal teams up with Jetwerx to announce a special edition event in the Rockstar Energy Triple Crown Series

A month after it was announced that motocross is making a grand comeback at the Olympic Stadium with Supercross Montréal this September 15, event producer GESTEV is excited to confirm that one of the biggest names in the industry is now on board as well—Jetwerx International. Not only will Jetwerx be in charge of all course building and competition timing, it’s also raising the stakes by making this a special edition event in the Rockstar Energy Triple Crown Series!

This event in Montreal, featuring three 450 class races and one 250 class race, is a special edition that will kick off this season’s tour on top of the three regular events in the series. Points earned in Montreal will count toward overall series rankings. Battling it out in the 450 class will be 10 international riders recruited by expert motocross consultant Eric Peronnard, as well as 20 Triple Crown Series riders invited by Jetwerx. There’ll be 30 riders in the running in the 250 class too, and just 20 places at the start line for the grand finals of the evening in each class. Supercross Montréal is sanctioned by MRC (Motorsport Racing Canada) and promises to draw thousands of spectators to the Olympic Stadium for a night to remember.

Back in June, GESTEV announced the first headliners for the event, including local hotshot Kaven Benoit and American rider Malcolm Stewart, as well as two European riders who are making waves on the international circuit, French riders Cédric Soubayras and Thomas Ramette. Watch this space as the next round of big-name riders will be announced in the next few weeks, as well as more information about the amateur category of the event.
