A native of the Beauce region, René Lajoie invites you to relive several eras through the timeless classics that have left their mark on generations.

Known for his powerful and moving voice, he came to the attention of the general public thanks to his remarkable appearance on La Voix, as well as his numerous duets shared on social media, which have amassed nearly 20 million views. He has also been a member of the Tocadéo quartet for 18 years now.

Accompanied by his musicians, René will take you on a journey through the rich repertoire of French-language songs. On the program: works by legends such as Jacques Brel, Charles Aznavour, Gilbert Bécaud, Serge Lama, and Michel Sardou, not to mention the great Quebec songwriters and performers like Claude Dubois, Robert Charlebois, Daniel Lavoie, Claude Léveillée, Félix Leclerc, Gilles Vigneault, and Jean-Pierre Ferland.

After opening for Christian Marc Gendron at several venues across Quebec - including the Cogeco Amphitheater in Trois-Rivières - René Lajoie now takes the stage to present a show that reflects his own spirit: passionate, intense, and deeply human.  Get ready for a musical journey filled with emotions and memories, where each performance pays tribute to the greatest icons of French-language music.
