United by a shared desire for poetry and meaningful engagement, director and performer Yoann Bourgeois and Canadian musician Patrick Watson have joined forces to create a deeply thought-provoking work driven by a profound reflection on the world we live in.

Constantly seeking new artistic experiences, the ever-dynamic Yoann Bourgeois, whose multidisciplinary practice spans acrobatics, juggling, dance, and performance, embarked in 2020 on an ongoing creative dialogue with Patrick Watson, the acclaimed Canadian musician whose work blends indie rock, pop, and cabaret influences. Confronted with a world facing major challenges, including the climate crisis, social exclusion, and economic inequality, both artists are determined to fully embrace their responsibilities as creators. “We believe in the power of the most radical poetry, in enchanting songs, in truly magical invocations, and in wild ideas,” says Yoann Bourgeois. Born out of conversations that began during the COVID-19 pandemic, their collaboration has resulted in a rich, stirring production featuring several additional performers.
