Michael Jackson Legacy: An immersive “Smooth Criminal” experience
Québec tour starts in May 2026
Québec City, Tuesday, November 4, 2025 — Productions Bohèmes is proud to announce Michael Jackson Legacy, an electrifying immersive experience that pulls audiences directly into the glamorous and dangerous world of Michael Jackson’s iconic “Smooth Criminal” video. Led by a Michael Jackson impersonator, accompanied by 12 dancers and three exceptional singers, the show breaks down the barriers between the stage and the audience, as the troupe moves between the aisles and among the spectators to bring the King of Pop's legendary repertoire and dance moves back to life with intensity. The resonant production, directed by Steve Bolton, comes to the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal on May 15 and 16 and August 20 to 22, the Théâtre Capitole in Québec City from June 25 to 28, and the Théâtre du Casino du Lac-Leamy in Gatineau from December 10 to 12, 2026.

While Michael Jackson Legacy reimagines the concert experience by creating a vibrant connection between performers and audience, spectators can enjoy ultimate immersion with the dinner/show package, available at the Théâtre Capitole and the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal. In a compelling extension of the show, guests will savour a three-course gourmet dinner with themed cocktails while interactive scenes gradually reveal the quirky and glamorous world of Michael Jackson Legacy as the show unfolds around them. While the show draws its aesthetic from the 1987 cult classic “Smooth Criminal,” it is a powerful celebration of Michael Jackson’s entire career, stringing together legendary hits including “Billie Jean,” “Wanna Be Startin’ Something,” “Bad,” “Rock With You,” “Beat It,” “Black or White,” “They Don’t Care About Us,” and of course “Smooth Criminal” for 90 minutes of non-stop excitement. Michael Jackson Legacy invites spectators into a secret club where groove is the only rule.
